Support for Windows XP is ending?

In All, Plan Strategically by Mike Abbott

That’s right.  After April 8, 2014Microsoft will no longer be providing support or security updates for Windows XP.

What does this mean?

Without support or security updates Windows XP will not receive the critical updates that protect it from viruses, spyware, and other malicious software, that could steal or harm your computers data.

How can I stay protected?

There are 2 options.  1 – Upgrade your current PC.  2 – Invest in a new PC.  Many legacy XP machines will not be compatible with the newer operating systems and it is not generally recommended to try to upgrade them.  First Service recommends new hardware for your business to maximize hardware longevity and return on investment.  We offer a variety of Lenovo workstations and laptops to meet your specific needs.
